New Block of the Month

Hello Quilters!

In the making of the sample for the block of the month, I’ve made a change. I hope you don’t mind.  The pattern for this quilt has a layout of 4 blocks across and 6 down.  I’m a little fatter than that, myself, ha!  I like my quilts a little wider, and the length of this layout is really more than I needed!  So…. I changed to a layout of 5 across and 5 down, this only required me to make one extra block!  Now it measures 81″x81″ a nice full size that fits my girth, ha!  If any of you want to make this even bigger, it will be an easy adjustment of making the sashings wider or adding another border. Of course you can make the quilt as the pattern is, too.

The sample colorway is appealing to the younger quilters or for the teen or tween you want to make a quilt for.  It includes zebra print, so my name for it is “Divas Love Zebras”.  I’ve had a lot of fun making this bright quilt, I hope you are excited about it, too.

There will be several choices of colorways for this quilt.  Remember this will be two blocks each month for a dollar.  This first month will be $6 as it includes the package of Thangles, enough to make the whole quilt top.
There will be two finishing kits, the first will be the second package of Thangles and fabric for the sashing stars, the second will be fabric for the sashings, cornerstones, and border.  This way you can be making the sashing stars, as you go, with less expense, all at once.

Most of the colorways will have only 5 finishing kits available, so you’ll want to choose early!
