Hello Fall Quilters!
I will be as busy as you in November! Here is the line up!
November 5&6 will be the quilt show on the Creek County Fair Grounds, where I will be manning my booth. I plan to have a variety of kits, gadgets and pretty things! The shop will be open and be in Karen's capable hands these two days. I hope you can make the show, there will be MANY quilts to see and be inspired by.
November 13 will be a sit and sew day, free. There will be a special guest giving a free demonstration on concealed tacking of quilts. She will be here from 1pm-3pm. This is a "fast" way to get a quilt "quilted" and no machine needed. You need a "sandwich" of top, batting and back, crochet thread and a long dollmaking needle to practice the stitch. This can be small and inexpensive like muslin for the top and back.
November 20 will be a repeat of the sewing wallet. The first class was a big hit! Call for the fabric needed and so I can get everyone in. You will be given a copy of the pattern in the class only. This would make a great gift, is fast, pretty, and fun. Class is $10 10am-4pm 322-3537
November 26 Black Friday a sale to be announced later. Hours for the sale 9am-11am Lots of cool stuff, too.
November 27 Tickets for a drawing for free fat quarter bundle given with minimum $10 purchase. Drawing to be held on December 24.
Remember the Redbud Quilt Run drawing will be soon! Quilts need to be done and brought to a shop from the run by Dec 24!!
