Hello Quilters!
I met with the stitch group starting at the library in Glenpool on Saturday. It looks like a nice group of talented crafters! They do all sorts of fiber creations from thread, yarn, scrapbooking, fabric, beading, you name it! If you'd like to join, go see Roz at the library, no charge to be in the group.
At the shop there is the tote bag class this Saturday 10-4. Remember the block class for the Hidden Star Sampler is Tuesday and Thursday from 1-4 all this month and most of Oct. If you need to use a sewing machine, let me know, I'm happy to let you use one for class.
I have a couple of new sample quilts hanging. One is from an Eleanor Burns pattern called "How Charming". It is an easy quilt and requires no special ruler. It is made with 5" charm squares. The other is a Paper Doll quilt, very colorful. I've made kits up for it and they have been popular so far.
For anyone who would still like to get the kit for the Redbud Quilt Run quilt, the kits are ready now. I am working this up into a whole quilt which will include the block patterns and block fabrics, also.
I love when the leaves turn and the air is crisp, it's inspiring! It makes me want to sit and finish my projects, think of events I'd like to attend, and plan for the holidays ahead.
